Good questions! My name is Loey Lockerby.  I’ve been a professional film critic since 1997, and president of the Kansas City Film Critics Circle since around 2007 – strangely, I never wrote down the exact date.  I (finally) started my own review site so I could write what I want without worrying about readers, editors or word counts.  It’s liberating, but a new experience for me, so it may take a while to get used to.

So, I hope you enjoy the reviews (probably 1 or 2 per week) and the odd feature article I’ll write when the mood strikes.  I’ll also post links to the reviews and articles I contribute elsewhere.  I’m an affiliate with Amazon and Think Geek, so if you shop with them through my site, I would appreciate it.
